OCBC gave me an almost VIP treatment

On 29th Jan, my money was stuck in the ATM when I was depositing it at the Sultan Branch on that Friday night.
I thought that I could recover it from the bank the next morning. But I was too busy and only checked on it at a ATM machine on Saturday night, but the money was not in. I called a bank staff from the phone number displayed on the ATM and she told me she would forward my message to the current account department on the next working day.
On Monday, I again reported my "LOSS" to a Bank Officer Miss NG Bee Lay at the Jalan Sultan Br. and she told me she would follow up. I am happy to say that at least 3 bank officers called me up and said that they will look into it and I got my money back on late Monday evening... A bit late but at least there were no much hassle.
Why an almost VIP treatment ? Well, the amount that was stuck in the machine was only $60.00 and they called me at least 5 times to check with me and assured me.
ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT ?
1) The Banks branch could display its Telephone Number on the door, so should there be any problems , customers like me  could called them on the next working day. OR we could leave a voice message for any urgency follow up by the bank branch officers. If a big amount had been stuck in the ATM machines, being able to call the Branch Officers directly may smooth some worries.
2) I had a problem finding the OCBC branch at Ion Orchard. Asked three working people there for directions and was sent three different ways. Would be helpful if more prominent signs are displayed.

FUN - Our family holiday in Hong Kong Disneyland - latest updates

While we were in HongKong for the year end holiday, we of course went to the Disney Land theme park.
Although the park was small in comparison to the one at Anaheim (my wife and myself went to USA West coast for our honeymoon) and without most of the thrill rides, it more or less made up for it with its good public relations by having quite a good number of spots for photography with the Disney characters.
All the Disney carton characters clowned with everyone that went in for a photograph. We remembered Goofy, he kept jumping up and down and pointed his hand upwards nonstop when he saw my daughters, and everyone was laughing with his clowning. When I realised that he was trying to tell my daughters that they were very tall, only then he stopped jumping and nodded his head.
The shows were great, do go for the "MICKEY'S SYMPHONY". It's a 3D show and when you put on the 3d glasses, the characters ran around the 180 degree screen right in front of your very nose.
Though it was drizzling before the park closed for the night , the firework still went on for almost 20 mins.
Rooms for improvement- service and entertainment:-
Services staff were very friendly , but...
1) The queue area for the shows were held in very stuffy and hot areas.  It wasn't very comfortable standing in those confined areas packed to one another. There should be better ventilation. We left the queuing area for the "Stitch Encounter "after standing in line for about 5 mins.
2) Food was expensive. Could put some fastfood outlets as in Anaheim.

A great buy and service at Raoul boutique, Suntec

Happened to walk around Suntec City Mall on the 5th Feb, and saw a sale sign outside the Raoul boutique.
Went in and bought a long sleeve shirt with the double folded cuff and selling less than a hundred dollars. The shirt is a 2 ply cotton white shirt with pink strip and its a top quality cotton as it only reflects the light when you move towards it.
The lady store manager was certainly an outstanding staff. even though I was buying a "sale " piece,she took the trouble to explain the quality of that shirt to me.
She took my measurement for their alteration. Unfortunately I would not have been able to go back on time and collect it for the Chinese New Year. I told her I would like to bring it to my own tailor for the alteration. Guess what? She agreed and gave me the piece of paper with my measurement and even advised me what to tell my tailor so that the shirt will turned out perfect.
To me, this Lady Store Manager at Raoul is indeed an excellent service staff and a good model to her colleagues in her Company. She is very proud of her company's product and wanted it to look good on me.
I didn't get her name because I was too attentive listening to her complimenting the shirt on me. Sorry, Miss.
I like that shirt you introduced to me very much, and not to worry, the alteration was perfect, thanks to you.
